The Dig Project is a modern rock band that has enjoyed the privelege of performing to thousands of people all over the Eastern and Midwestern United States. In February of 2003, they signed a recording contract with Word Of Mouth Records and completed a two month, thirty-two concert summer tour. A high-energy stage show and positive original music have twice allowed them to be finalists for Kingdom Bound Festival's Talent Search. The Dig project also placed in the top four (out of 32 bands) in Rochester's Most Popular Band Contest at the prestigious Milestone's Music Club. In addition, they were chosen by radio station WBER to perform at a Rochester Rhinos Major League Soccer Game. Freetime Magazine called their independent release "smooth and effortless", and also said that they were "always inspiring". Having been a strong musical presence for three plus years in Rochester, they are currently working hard on their second tour.
With influences ranging from Three Doors Down and Live, to U2 and Jars of Clay, this five-piece rock group has a lot on their plate with a new label, a new record, and a new tour this winter, be sure to catch these guys at Atlanta Fest (GA), Inside Out Soul Festival (NH), Icthus Festival (KY), and many other popular venues around the country.
